“Last full day!”…

…is the cry being heard, with a mixture of  joy and sadness as “can’t believe it’s been so quick” meets “actually, nearly ready to go home.”

Yesterday was a lovely day filled with forest walks, orienteering, caving, biking and even kayaking for a hardy few. A scavenger hunt and nature art competition finished off the evening before bed.

Incidental lessons of the day centered on the tuckshop, where children dealt with the concepts that sometimes shops run out of things (what?!) and that, no, if you drop your sweets outside you can’t demand a refund (nice try though).
