Happy New Year and welcome back to school!
It is with a little eye-roll and a tiny head shake that Mr Lynch and Mr Carson rejoin the pupils of P7C and P7L for this new term, but at least now we know the drill better than we did last time and can make the most of these few weeks of home learning!
We will be in touch through Teams to share learning grids as before, and would ask that you all get online and check your access to these resources as soon as you can to help us fix any problems.
IMPORTANT – Please remember that the email needed to access Teams should be the pupil’s Scottish Candidate Number (the usual 9 digits, starting with 150 for most…) but followed by
@ea.edin.sch.uk
NOT followed by
@schools.edin.org
as printed on the slips!
We are still planning some work to celebrate Scots’ Week and our Burns Celebration while refreshing our knowledge and understanding of themes and topics covered in P7.
We will begin looking at our World of Work topic too, an important part of the transition process between P7 and S1. Please make sure this is looked at and understood by the children.
