A big Thank You to everyone for joining us, yesterday, for our virtual ‘Meet the Teacher’. As promised, here are the sounds and words we have been practising this week.
Sounds – oi and oy. Please cut these out of the yellow sounds card and continue to practise and build words with them alongside last year’s initial sounds, for example s-oi-l says soil and c-oi-in says coin.
Words – we have revised the words her, of, you and one. Our new tricky word this week is ‘were’. Can the boys and girls read and write these words and use them correctly in the context of a sentence? Maybe they’ll be spotted in this week’s reading books? Have a go!
