Swimming-P4M

Looking forward to our swimming sessions starting after the February week.  As we have to be in the pool at 9:10 it is essential that children leave the school at 8:45 sharp on Tuesdays, starting 21st February.

This is a reminder of what to bring.  The swimming instructors guidance is that no jewellery should be worn including earrings.  Girls must have long hair tied back and wear a one piece costume.  Boys should wear swimwear which is not baggy(no Bermuda shorts) or below the knees.  Don’t forget your towel!!

Class News

Delighted to report on our finalists for the Burns’ Verse Speaking who did an amazing recital each. Rory Payne represented our class in the final and his delivery was very epressive.  Each child in the class did an excellent job in learning their chosen poem and they were proud of their personal achievement.

It is our P4M assembly on Friday at 9:10 to which you are all warmly invited.

Water Aid

Primary 4s really excited as through their creativity they managed to sell to the twos and threes enough wonderful products to send £100 to help children with no clean water.  Many thanks for both monetary donations and your continued support.

Looking forward to hearing all the super Scottish poems. Our class is having a competition on Friday 20th, to decide who goes forward to the semi-finals on.  Keep up the good practising.

Maths homework for the next few weeks is continuing to learn 3, 4 and now 9 x tables.

Keep learning and having fun with it.

Happy New Year,

Mrs M.
