Welcome back P3! We hope that you have all managed to have a restful and enjoyable Easter break and we would like to welcome you all back (in an online and virtual way at least!) to the Summer Term.
We will continue to upload daily tasks on to Seesaw, with at least a literacy and numeracy task every day. We also have our grids that we sent home in your home learning packs. Please continue going back to these grids to practise and revisit your learning. Also remember that Mr Glass and Mr Brownlie have been uploading some great tasks on the school website, which we have been sharing.
We are looking forward to hearing from you all again so keep the Seesaw posts coming to tell us all about the fantastic learning that you are doing. We love seeing the work that you send us!
Please also check the Sumdog website. Each child will be given an individual login to this website over the next few days and it is a great way to practice literacy and numeracy skills. The teachers can set challenges and tasks so try and challenge yourselves with these! If you are having challenges accessing this website, contact your child’s class teacher and they should be able to help.
A little bit about Sumdog:
Sumdog is a fantastic website that uses motivating games to encourage students to practise their mental maths skills. The children love it as they are able to play against each other and they can practise any skill with any game. This ensures Sumdog is never boring – and always relevant.
Each child has been given their own login and unique password. This means that when they log on to the Sumdog website (www.sumdog.com) they will automatically see their own personalised home screen. From here they can scroll across the screen to choose games that appeal to them. Whichever game they choose they will still be given questions relevant to their level so it doesn’t matter if they prefer some games over others.
